We will pick you up at your hotel or vacation rental and take you to one of the best local surf spots depending on your skill level. If these are some of your first surf lessons and you are planning to learn how to surf in Costa Rica, we will take you to Playa Grande or Playa Tamarindo when the waves are small. These beaches are great for surfers of all levels, depending on the tide. Once we determine the most appropriate destination, we will hit the beach and practice some fundamental skills. You will learn the correct positioning and the right movements for standing up. We will practice on land until you perfect the movements. Once you are ready, we will enter the water and your surf instructor will help you identify the type of wave you are looking for. They will teach you how to paddle and catch waves with ease, providing support where you need it. Your surfing lesson will last 2 hours and afterwards we will take you back home.
