Starting at our main office in Playa Potrero, we will load up the van and set out around 6 AM. Heading north, we will pass many small villages and sugar plantations as we make our way to the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. After about an 80-minute drive we will arrive at the Canon de la Vieja Lodge where the fun will begin! 

First, we will embark on a white-water tubing adventure through the canyon. Depending on the conditions, there will be Class II or III rapids that we will navigate in small tubes. This portion of the day will last approximately and hour and a half. Then we will hit the zip-lines where there are 9 cables that travel down the Colorado River canyon. This is also approximately an hour and a half adventure through the canyon. Then you will rappel almost 70 feet down the canyon wall with safety harnesses, helmets and professional guides. After, you will have the chance to climb up the same wall if you choose! 

After an adventurous and adrenaline packed day, you will have surely worked up an appetite! Enjoy a delicious buffet style meal with typical Costa Rican food. Then take some time to relax in the hot springs at the Aquetzally Spa. Don’t skip the mud bath! The nutrient rich minerals are exactly what your skin needs to feel rejuvenated and fresh. Then hop in the van and we will make our way back to the Lizard Tours office. You can expect to be back in Potrero by 5 PM.
