ATV - Catamaran Combo
This full day tour combines an ATV tour with a sunset sailing adventure. It is fun and a great way to see the area, both from land and sea. To begin the day, we will take you on an ATV tour of five different beaches. We will start at 9:00am and leave from our starting point at our Playa Potrero office. As we move up the coast, you will experience a unique phenomenon. Beach to beach, the scenery changes significantly. You will see both brown sand beaches and white sand beaches, all within miles of each other. You will also see exotic jungle fauna, beautiful mangroves and if you’re lucky, a few howler monkeys. You’ll probably hear them before you see them, but our experienced guides will help you find them in the trees!
After we complete our North Beach Tour, we will return to our meeting point at 11:00am. You will have some time to rest before we head out on our sunset sailing adventure. Leaving from the site of the new Flamingo Marina, we will gather the crew and set out for a sunset sailing adventure that you are sure to love. You will enjoy a nice leisurely sail up the coast and a few hours of relaxation in one of our beautiful coves. Feel free to embark on a snorkeling adventure with one of our experienced guides, paddle around on one of our complimentary kayaks and enjoy a delicious catered meal. With our open bar, friendly staff and delicious tropical drinks – you are sure to have a fun afternoon at sea. Finish the day with a beautiful sunset!
We will meet 1:40 at the Lazy Lizard Sailing meeting point. Moving north to Playa Penca, Playa Prieta and then Playa Danta, we will stop at each beach to enjoy the beautiful scenery. We will then go on a short 15-minute hike to Playa Dantita, a beautiful small beach just north of Las Catalinas. Here you can enjoy some swimming and beach time. After returning to our meeting point, you will have a few hours to rest and prepare for the sunset catamaran.
If you need transportation, we will pick you up at your hotel. We will set sail around 2 PM from the site of the new Flamingo Marina. Once on the water, we will sail for about an hour before we find a quiet cove. Snorkel, kayak, bask in the sun with a cocktail – whatever your ideal afternoon looks like! We will provide a delicious catered meal around 3:30 PM and return to the marina as the sun sets. We will be back on shore around 6 PM and will be happy to provide transportation as needed.
