This exciting adventure tour starts in Playa Potrero at the Lizard Tours main office at 9 AM. Here we will begin with a quick safety demonstration for those who will be behind the wheel. Once all of our drivers are comfortable and confident, we will hit the road and begin the cultural buggy tour.

As we make our way down the back roads, we will pass by various small towns, beaches and tico-style ranches. As we go, we will explain the history of the area via walkie talkies that are stationed in each custom-built buggy. During the tour, you’ll experience an incredible mix of culture and nature, hopefully we’ll even get some good wildlife sightings! You will learn about the unique history of a 100+ year old house and hidden mangrove tree systems. We will then stop for a picnic lunch at one of the many charming local beaches. Enjoy a swim, bask in the sun and enjoy the relaxing charm of Costa Rica. We will then make our way back to the office, taking the rural roads of Guanacaste. You can expect to be back at the main office by 2 PM.
